With this brief I basically want to record a bank of communication, so mostly conversations but communication in general, obviously this is the most important thing within graphic design. Recording conversations would allow for interesting outcomes, but what I want to explore within this brief is interesting ways to display type.
layout ideas:
I want this format to be A4 as I have not designed to this format with a book yet and I feel this will give me a few options in terms of displaying type in various ways. I want the conversations to be numbered throughout and to possibly look at photographing locations of areas where the conversations were recorded.
In terms of the aesthetic I want it to be less digital than what I would usually create and feature a lot of handwriting, scan ins etc. I want to look at distorting text and manipulating sentences to give it an interesting aesthetic. It could also be interesting to see the contrast in conversations and dialect in different areas.
