BRIEF 07: PERSONAL MANIFESTO//DESIGN DEVELOPMENT//OUGD603

design development
These designs just work as visuals for the way to present my manifesto so I have used photographs and songs etc that I like to design these inner pages.  This is the image I used of a photograph I had taken in the summer.
I wanted to use the lyrics of Bob Dylans song 'Please crawl out of your window' as part of the design and have been looking at various collage and photomontage designs in order to see what kind of style and how I would like to include type.  My original idea was to collect various image I had taken of windows and using masking tape map down the addresses of the places I'd been.  I then wanted to try hand writing as part of the design:
I started over laying the song lyrics with the type, I thought the white text contrasting with the dark areas of the photograph worked
As part of the design on the inside sleeves of the french fold manifesto I wanted to have a design that just featured text, I want to try and over lay various passages of text on layered stock backgrounds, plain simple backgrounds as to not be too distracting from the written element.

This is the final design for one of the inside folds of the manifesto, the work used in the inside designs don't especially have to visualise/speak about the manifesto point made on the outer part of the page, its just visuals for the design of the manifesto that also reflects some of my work.
