accidentally on purpose
Accidentally On Purpose is a collection of photographs that at the time of development were not desired. The idea is to take these once unwanted images out of context and to put them together in a series to show that they have an element of beauty of their own.
A4 newsprint, 32 pages each. Individually cut by hand and saddle stitched.
Issue 1 limited to 50 copies. Issue 2 just 20 copies.

playing with composition, looking at the best way of displaying the photos and seeing which ones could potentially compliment each other. Something else to consider would be the approach to binding and what would be most appropriate. If they were a selection of zines they could be created in a cheaper, quicker way, using saddle stitch fro example. However if the photographs were to go in one big zine the attention to stock and binding would have to be of more quality.

This zine is slightly different from previous ones I have been looking at. I hadn't thought about changing any of the images to black and white because I feel the colour would probably work in the zines favour, however if certain images suit it could work well as a single zine of black and white images taken from each city.
This was one of the few zines that I had been looking at that featured this much writing in. In terms of type and type layout I haven't thought about it in detail, however the type would be a lot smaller and a more subtle design.
