song - this is the life
This is the starting song on the record. I decided to use photographs of the band, as a sort of introduction, photos capturing them. I basically wanted to create a photomontage pattern depicting the band in a causal social situation. The images really help the design as the colours in the prints are nice and interesting.
The idea was to use two photographs and combine them together to make a layered pattern of the group. Adding the song title into the image. I firstly tried adding the logo for the band but didnt think the circle logo worked with the square pattern, I then layered the logo underneath the photo.
